Being a Mommy: The first three weeks

I still can't believe I'm a mom. It's pretty crazy that Josh and I created a little person! These last three weeks have flown by!

Moments after her birth
The sleep deprivation is for real! I didn't think I would be able to function since I love sleep so much but surprising I've been able to!

G is now 3 weeks and 3 days and last night she slept for 4 hours straight! I felt so great when I woke up after that stretch!!

I've also now been out of the house with her twice all by myself. Last Friday, we went to visit Megan and Declan for her first play date and yesterday we went to the Rose breastfeeding weigh in class. G now weighs 10 lbs 11 oz.! I'm glad that she is gaining weight and I hope that this growth spurt she's on right now ends soon and I get a little more time during the day to get things done....or get another nap in.

Big successes I've had in the last three weeks:
- Changing from pajama pants to yoga pants each day before noon
- Putting contacts in each day before noon
- Reading during (some) nursing sessions instead of just watching Netflix....I'm currently on my third book since her birth!
- Watching The Great British Baking Show on Netflix....instead of just Friends and The Office :)
- Sewing two burp clothes for G and getting ready to sew her a blanket and some skirts!!
- Taking 1 week pictures of G only 1 day late!
-Seeing G meet both sets of grandparents
- Accepting amazing help from my parents and Josh's parents for the first two weeks!!! Their help was priceless!!!

Below are more pictures documenting Georgia's first three weeks. Josh and I are so over the moon in love with this girl!!!

Heading home from the hospital!!
