Honeymoon in Cabo: beach days and sunset cruise

I know it's been a while since I've written on here...school gets pretty crazy during March and April! We just had our spring break and Josh and I honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!! It was all so gorgeous!! Here are some pictures from our trip:

This was our view for breakfast and dinner each night! Josh loved the yacht out there called the Atessa. It was huge! We will stay there next time...ha,ha.

These pictures were taken on our last day during the only two hours it was cloudy the entire time we were there

We spent most of our days here either laying by the beach or by one of the pools. We stayed at the Sandos Finisterra resort and highly recommend it!!

Here's a panoramic view that we had for breakfast and dinner each day

Loved spending my mornings under here!!

This is the Pacific Ocean so no swimming here due to the crazy currents! Divorce Beach is right past at big rock and the famous land's end arch is right past that beach.

Here is Josh's happy place!

Even though we waited 5 months to honeymoon, I still brought my Bride flip-flops to wear around!!

The daytime view from our room.

Loved the pool views!! I also loved having someone bring me drinks whenever I wanted!!

The evening view from our room. The sunset colors were just gorgeous!!!

Tuesday evening we took a sunset cruise on a sailboat which was easily my favorite thing all week! Before the sun set we were able to see the famous Cabo landmarks like this adorable colony of sea lions!

We had to get our picture in front of the arch.

During the cruise we saw whales jumping in the distance!! Josh was excited about seeing them

One of my all time favorite sunsets for sure.

I love this picture of the arch with the colors of the sunset behind it.

Dinner one night- check out that view!! And my hot husband :)

Cabo San Lucas at night

So we tried to leave Thursday but our flight was cancelled due to a leak so we had an extra night!

The airline put us in a resort in San Jose del Cabo (right next to Cabo San Lucas) so it was fun to see a slightly different city for a night! This city seemed a little more family friendly and less party animal.

Now we are back and getting ready to go to work tomorrow....but we have this awesome painting to remind us of the wonderful time we had!!

The adventures we had were way more fun than one blog post can hold so I'll write two more later this week about our snorkeling trip and mountain biking adventure!!!
